 Tom Weiss Park Run - Short Version

Tom Weiss, park rider extraordinaire lets us tag along on a run at Mountain Creek's South snowboard terrain parks We try to keep up and keep him in the camera frame as he blasts tricks on and off the features.. He's on an awesome Burton 2012 board with a gnome on it. Special appearances by Sal Good and Bro Chase.

 Nashoba Freeride Series Rail Jam - January 16, 2010
Nashoba Valley Ski Reosrt raises them up and throws it down in the first of 3 terrain park events this season. Park Manager Keith Kreischer gives an update of this 3 rail feature event with mostly the local crew competing.Skiers Bobby Sullivan in the yellow pants and Tim do the misty flip. Sophie gives the 2 hand plant she worked on at snowboard camp a go on the rooftop box. We interview hard-working "out of towner" Nicholas Legere who competed in 2 rail jams in one day this season. And we catch up with 16 year-old Zach Normandin, Nashoba local who won 12th in slopestyle Open Class at USASA Nationals last season and has been interviewed by Trans World Snowboarding.
Then we visit Nashoba's Tubing Park, the largest one in New England. It even has an observation deck where parents not tubing can party to the music while their kids tube.

 Under Armour 3rd Rail Jam - Mountain Creek 2011 - Part 1
Mountain Creek, Jan 8, 2011 - 2nd stop of the 8 stop national 3rd Rail Jam tour. In part 1 here we see lots of rail action, and meet Kevin Whitehead of Outkast Sports who tells us why this contest is so appealing to the local riders. There was a huge turnout of 150 snowboarders and skiers.
DJ Image of the Bum Squad tells us why Slacker.com radio is different from other radio stations. The Park Crew and Jib Lab specialist tell us what it took to build this rail setup. And Timmy Kempson. last year's winner and his Dad Grover Tim comment on the contest.

 Under Armour 3rd Rail Jam Short Reel, Mountain Creek, 1/8/.2011
3rd Rail Jam by Under Armour made its 2nd stop of the 8 stop 2011 tour at Mountain Creek, Vernon, NJ on January 8 2011. 150 snowboarders and skiers entered this event which lasted for an unprecedented 4 hours of action and fun on the urban style rail setup created after intense hours of work by Jiblab and the Mountain Creek Park Crew. Sketchy D makes a cameo appearance on his home turf as a judge of the competition.
This video is the short reel, see the longer versions for the full interviews with Top DJ Image of the Bum Squad. Also in the longer version Kevin Whitehead of Outkast Sports in Vernon tells us why the kids flock to this rail jam. Jesse from Jiblab and the Park Crew guys tell us about the rail setup. Meet Danno and his hat hustle along with happy customers of Ugly Hat.
Meet: last year's winner and a local favorite Timmy Kempson and his Dad Grover Tim.Tom Weiss gives us a shout ot and a big smile.Meet the Hip Hop artist who has UFO as his a.k.a. and Split Personality, Rail warriors Cam, Chris and Chris all a little worse for wear and banged up from today's action and accidents. Thank goodness Chris Solimini was up and walking after his spectacular crash on the bus shelter that stopped the rail jam and had everyone praying for him and sending good energy. In the longer video he tells us why he thinks the accident happened and how it could have been avoided.
Raekwon performs as well as DJ Image, And NYCE and Reckless wrap up the late show.

Hip Hoppers Sal Good and Poet Jabre del Sol share some inspiration on the consciousness of Hip Hop. Lindsay from Boston tells us to reach for the stars - that's how she ended up with $18 in cold cash that fell from the sky.
All this magic happened at the Under Armour 3rd Rail Jam at Killington, Vermont on the auspicious date of 1.1.11.

 3rd Rail Jam - Under Armour 3rd Rail Jam 2011 Killington
The Under Armour 3rd Rail Jam hit up Killington VT as first stop on this season's 8 stop national tour. Combining a rail jam for snowboarders and skiers with a hip hop face off on snow called "The Battle Below Zero" and a night time dance party. Top DJ Image and Timmy Grins presided over the music and giveaways which included prizes from the sponsors and a stupendous "Dollar Drop" where dollar bills literally fell from the sky onto the excited dance crowd below.

 Rails to Riches 2010, Rail Jam Part Deux
Tom Weiss of Vernon, NJ has a cameo speaking role in this video. See the last half of the 50 minute rail jam. The riders and skiers had a vote in deciding the winners as well as the judges. Award ceremony and podium too. We chat with old friend and past Rails to Riches winner Cassandra Herbes of Sparta, NJ as she picks up her prize money.
